Chiropody

How Chiropody Works

Chiropodists specialize in assessing and treating abnormalities and injuries of the foot and ankle. Your feet support your entire body weight each day, and therefore are subject to high levels of strain and stress. Our Chiropodist is trained to alleviate and correct foot and ankle disorders, as well as provide professional advice on proper foot care for patients of all ages. Our Chiropodist also provides custom-casted orthotics, which are shoe inserts specially designed to correct the biomechanics of the foot.

Chiropody Can Help…

Mild discomfort or ongoing foot pain may be an indication of a more serious underlying problem such as diabetes, neurological disorders, circulatory disorders, or arthritis. The most common conditions treated by a Chiropodist include: flat feet/fallen arches, heel spurs, sports injuries, corns, calluses, ingrown nails, plantar warts, and diabetic foot care.
