Exercise is Medicine – this is the message from the Canadian and American Medical Associations. Simple exercise can treat and prevent as many as 42 chronic diseases. Therefore it is vital to implement an exercise program as part of a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately many people are unsure how to start an exercise program, and are intimidated by the gym. Our physiotherapy department offers the Fit for Life and Core Strength exercise programs to help clients of all ages and abilities incorporate appropriate exercise into their lifestyle.
